Sertus, a commercial company specialising in all things smoke ventilation, wanted to create a purpose-built space within their office. They needed a studio for their marketing team to shoot footage, create content and amplify their message in support of the business’ growth.

An on-brand studio for content creation

While the rest of the building was mostly standard office space, our client wanted a studio that looked cool and on-brand. The marketing team would use this as a base to create tutorial videos and more for the company’s social media and website content.

With a brief to create a modern, industrial look, we got to work quickly. We achieved the result by integrating M&E (mechanical and electrical) into an exposed ceiling. Working with the client to achieve the space they wanted, we decided to opt for clean white walls, for a better shooting environment and to keep their content consistent.

We kept things simple to get the new area up and running without delay, partitioning the building to bring the new studio to life.

Going above & beyond for commercial projects

Flexibility is a non-negotiable for a successful commercial project. The Heronlake team committed to out-of-hours working – starting at 4 AM on some days – so our client’s staff could work uninterrupted by the bashing-around of builders.
