3 generations;
1 shared goal.

The Heronlake story began in 1965 when David Coles set up his one-man building company in Surrey. Servicing residential customers throughout the area, he strived for exceptional quality with every job.

David’s son, Stuart, took over the family business in 2018, and Heronlake was officially born.

Originally, Stuart just planned to follow in his father’s residential footsteps. However, the firm expanded into the commercial building world after picking up odd jobs and realising they had a knack for turning commercial conversions over quickly.

Since then, Stuart’s sons have come on board, along with focus teams that specialise in both commercial and residential projects.

That means when you partner with Heronlake, you’re choosing a dedicated commercial construction company that still achieves exceptional quality with every job.

Our Portfolio

Working from a converted barn on a farm just outside Farnham, we’ve perfected the art of nailing the basics. When you need a space that’s ready to rent out, without the hassle, we’re the commercial builders who make it happen.

As office renovation contractors and dilapidation specialists, our clients can count on us to get into their property and get the job done. Speed comes as standard, but we work in ways that save you money, too.

Our goal is to help you make the most of your property investment.
