A multi-phased project to bring a breathtaking family home together. Heronlake originally worked with this client in 2020 to construct a new extension that blended perfectly with the existing house.
The 2020 project scope included a ground floor extension to the lounge, re-landscaping the patio, and a timber outbuilding with oak features. This was to be used partly as a carport; partly as a bespoke wine storage space. With every step, the client was able to piece together their dream home and build their ideal lifestyle.
2023 updates
Fast forward to 2023 and the client was ready to embark on another phase of the project. This involved modernising three bathrooms in the home, some landscaping, and a new orangery to the rear of the property.
To make this happen, we worked closely with a specialist orangery company that supplied and mostly fitted the orangery. Heronlake took care of the preparation and finishing — from laying the groundwork and paving to adding the roof. Extra depth in the home created a larger dining area and opened up the entire place.
As the client had many of their own contacts, such as carpenters and bathroom suppliers, we worked closely and flexibly with other contractors throughout.
Stand-out features of Tansy
We lifted the 00×00 back garden with a new patio, lighting and steps leading down to the client’s brand-new pavilion. This has provided a usable living space, complete with electrics, lighting and surfaces — perfect for entertaining.
Vaulted beams in the lounge extension add an interesting aesthetic and extra height to the room, which was designed and decorated by the Heronlake team.
